About Us
The Electrical Engineering Department Started in 1997 with a seat of 60 intakes. The Department
offers excellent infrastructure and resources in the form of experienced facuilties, constantly
upgrading laboratories and resource materials.
Vision
To encourage the development of proficient individuals to exhibit professionalism and skill set in
present technological and societal advancements in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Mission
- M1 : To prepare the students with clear understanding of Electrical Engineering. and improvement of
the technical skill.
- M2 : To collaborate with industry research organization and academia to encourage creativity and
innovation among the student.
- M3 : To provide students a platform to develop new ideas and systems that can help industry.
Program outcomes (POS)
- PO1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge : Apply knowledge of basic mathematics , science and
engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
- PO2. Problem analysis : Identify and analyse well defined engineering problems using codified
standard methods.
- PO3. Design/development of solutions : Design solutions for well defined technical problems and
assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
- PO4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing : Apply modern engineering tools and
appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
- PO5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment : Apply appropriate
technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
- PO6. Project Management : Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member
or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering
activities.
- PO7. Life-long learning : Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of
technological changes.

- PEO1 : Generate on attitude of curiosity in young students in learning leading as applied science like
robotics and automation.
- PEO2 : To equip the student with professional etiquettes, work ethics and leadership qualities, effective
communication skill and competency to excel individuality and work as a team.
- PEO3 : To apply the technical knowledge of electrical engineering in developing innovative solution and to
work towards sustainable growth and development.
